Tourist police arrested "Artee," a 20-year-old LGBTQ woman, for robbing a Chinese tourist at the hotel bed after threatening the victim, who had to run downstairs naked to seek help.
In the early hours of 1 Feb 2026, a Chinese tourist ran down naked from the 6th floor in South Pattaya, Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province, seeking help from police after being threatened and robbed by an LGBTQ woman. The victim lost 10,000 baht in cash and an iPhone 15 Pro Max before the suspect fled. The victim stated they had first met the LGBTQ group at Pattaya Beach and were then invited to a hotel room where the incident occurred.
At 3 p.m. on 26 Feb 2026, Police Lieutenant Colonel Prabda Suksunthree, Chief of Tourist Police Division 4, ordered a crackdown on LGBTQ women involved in crimes against tourists that damage the city's image. He assigned Police Lieutenant Colonel Atsada Jarusombat and Police Lieutenant Colonel Apisit Phoengyaem of Tourist Police Division 4, Pattaya, to lead officers with a Pattaya Provincial Court arrest warrant No. Jor.114/2569 dated 25 Feb 2026. The suspects are charged with "joint nighttime robbery with weapons or by two or more people to facilitate theft or transport of stolen goods."
They arrested the suspect at a hotel room in Pattaya city, Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province, room number 502. Upon presenting the Pattaya Provincial Court arrest warrant, officers found five LGBTQ women inside. The suspect named in the warrant is Artee, aged 20. Some others were still asleep on the beds. The suspect's group is the same one previously involved in assaulting a German tourist on Pattaya Beach, for which officers had made earlier arrests.
Tourist police presented evidence from CCTV footage and the recovered mobile phone taken from the Chinese tourist as proof linking the suspect to the crime. The suspect surrendered to the evidence before being taken into custody along with the seized items and handed over to investigators to proceed with legal actions.
Meanwhile, "Fueangfa," an LGBTQ woman from the "Pork Khao" gang suspected of stealing 20,000 baht from a Korean man at a pool villa before faking possession by a ghost, remains at large and is being sought by authorities.
