18-Year-Old Woman’s Revenge on Ex-Boyfriend Ends in Fatal Stabbing Surrenders to Police

An 18-year-old woman, deeply resentful of her ex-boyfriend's public post accusing her of having a serious illness, hired friends to gang assault him before personally stabbing him to death. She then walked into the police station to surrender and led officers to the body at the scene.

At 10:30 a.m., Police Colonel Thatchaphon Songsang, superintendent of Khon Buri Police Station, along with the investigative team, took 18-year-old Chompoo (surname withheld) from Pak Chong district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, to the crime scene where she used a knife to attack 33-year-old Wasan (surname withheld), a worker at a chicken processing factory in Chok Chai district, Nakhon Ratchasima. She had surrendered to police earlier that morning.

The crime scene was a corn and cassava field west of Bumma Kha village, Moo 1, Ban Takoen subdistrict, Khon Buri district, Nakhon Ratchasima. There, officers found Wasan's body face down on a dirt road cutting through the fields, about 500 meters from the Khok Kruat–Don Khwaen road. Signs of a struggle were evident. Forensic teams were called to examine and autopsy the body, which showed multiple injuries and three stab wounds: one to the neck and two to the left chest.

Police Colonel Thatchaphon Songsang explained that around midnight on 1 March 2026, Chompoo came to Soeng Sang Police Station, Nakhon Ratchasima, confessing that she had fatally stabbed her ex-boyfriend Wasan and left his body behind. Wasan worked at a chicken processing factory in Chok Chai district. After their breakup, Wasan had posted on Facebook accusing Chompoo of having a serious illness, which enraged her. She arranged a meeting with him in front of his workplace and hired two to three male friends to pick him up by pickup truck, pretending to take him to a delivery job. Upon arrival at the scene, her friends assaulted Wasan until he was weak, but still angry, Chompoo stabbed him three times, killing him. She then surrendered to police at Soeng Sang Police Station, near the crime scene, and was transferred to Khon Buri Police Station for investigation.

Colonel Thatchaphon added that Chompoo stated there were two to three male accomplices involved, whom she hired only to assault Wasan as a warning. Police have identified leads and are actively pursuing these suspects for questioning and legal action. Initially, Chompoo has been charged with intentional homicide.
