The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) and the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) raided a house belonging to Chonnaphat Naksua Member of Parliament for Songkhla, seeking additional evidence in an online gambling case and an outstanding arrest warrant case involving a close aide who assaulted a villager causing injury.
Reports indicate that at 09:00 on 5 Mar 2026, officials from the DSI together with AMLO officers conducted a search at the residence of Chonnaphat Naksua, Member of Parliament for Songkhla Province, Constituency 4, from the Kla Tham Party, located in Moo 5, Kradangnga Subdistrict, Sathing Phra District, Songkhla Province. The search aimed to gather further evidence related to an old case involving complaints about online gambling. This followed AMLO's decision to petition the court to order the forfeiture of 159 million baht in assets belonging to Chonnaphat and associates in the gambling case to the state, after dismissing their appeal to revoke the asset seizure due to insufficient grounds.
During the search of the residence, officials seized one unbranded designer handbag belonging to the wife of MP Krit. The operation was carried out under warrants issued by AMLO and an outstanding arrest warrant concerning a past case in which a close subordinate of Chonnaphat assaulted a villager, resulting in injury.
