Senior Woman Borrows Car, Returns It Damaged with Bloodstains Hit-and-Run Report Filed

Further developments in the case where a senior woman borrowed a young man's sedan, then returned it badly damaged with bloodstains inside. It was revealed she was involved in a hit-and-run accident, and the other party has filed a police report. Authorities are urgently reviewing CCTV footage from the crash site.

Reporters update on the case of Mr. Thanaphon, 29, who lent his bronze Honda City sedan to a senior woman for an errand. She later abandoned the car in front of a condominium along Chaeng Watthana Road, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, with severe collision damage. Bloodstains were found on the backseat, along with a military captain's ID card inside the car. Attempts to contact the senior woman have so far failed. On 11 March 2026, Police Colonel Adirek Thongkaemkaew, Superintendent of Pak Kret Police Station, stated it is now quite clear that the car was involved in a hit-and-run accident near the entrance to the Chaeng Watthana expressway, within the Rattanathibet police jurisdiction. The other party involved in the collision has filed a report at Rattanathibet Police Station, and the driver is being summoned for questioning.


Following this, police will review CCTV footage at the scene to determine the nature of the collision or if there are other circumstances. If it is confirmed as a traffic accident and the bloodstains inside the car are from the collision, the case will be forwarded to Rattanathibet Police Station for further action, as the incident occurred in their area.

Regarding the military captain's ID card found in the car, authorities have yet to contact its owner.
