On 11 March 2025 GMT+7, Mr. Witya Neetitham, Assistant Secretary-General and spokesperson of the NACC, announced the results of the 3rd/2569 Transaction Committee meeting chaired by Secretary-General Thepsu Bawornchotidara on 10 March 2026 GMT+7. The committee resolved to take action regarding assets linked to drug offenses, public fraud, routine fraud, electronic gambling, and other predicate crimes, summarizing notable actions.
Specifically, the case involves a group jointly organizing electronic gambling via www.gimi88.com and related websites, including Mr. Chonnaphat and associates. The Transaction Committee had previously ordered the seizure and freezing of assets valued at approximately 158 million baht (Order No. ย.286/2568), currently under civil court review in case number ฟ 16/2569. The committee has now ordered the seizure and freezing of 12 additional assets (such as shares in limited companies and bank account funds) related to the offenses, valued at about 12 million baht (Order No. ย.81/2569).
