
Pak Kret police tracked and arrested a meth dealer selling to teenagers living in a Muang Thong Thani condominium. After surrounding and searching the vehicle and ordering it to stop, the suspect accelerated to flee. Police decided to shoot and puncture three tires, disabling the vehicle and preventing escape. Two suspects were arrested along with 1,600 methamphetamine pills.
At 22:00 on 14 March 2026, Pol. Col. Adirek Thongkhamkaew, Chief of Pak Kret Police Station, Pol. Lt. Col. Karun Limpirojnarit, Deputy Chief of Investigation, Pol. Lt. Visit Chomchoei, Investigation Supervisor, and Sub-Lt. Sanan Janmo, Deputy Investigation Supervisor, led an investigation team to arrest Mr. Natkan Poolsap, 33, from Bangkok, and his wife Ms. Thanaporn Promchat, 31, from Nakhon Pathom. They lived on the 10th floor of a condominium building in Muang Thong Thani, Bang Phut Subdistrict, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province. Police seized 1,600 methamphetamine pills and a bronze Honda Civic car, license plate 3ขภ 6833 Bangkok.
The investigation team received information from condominium residents that Mr. Natkan was a meth dealer selling to teenagers living there without fear of the law. Police kept watch to arrest him while he and his wife were returning from picking up meth for sale in the Muang Thong Thani area near the building. When police surrounded and searched the car, Mr. Natkan accelerated to flee. The investigation team fired several shots at the tires to stop the escape, causing both rear tires and the right front tire to burst, but he still tried to flee along Popular Road.
He then turned right at the roundabout beneath the Impact Muang Thong Thani skytrain station, driving along Condominium Road. Along the way, Ms. Thanaporn threw seven bags containing 1,400 meth pills out the window. Police caught both suspects near Asawan Market after a chase of more than 2 kilometers. A search of the car found another bag with 200 meth pills. Police recovered all the discarded methamphetamine.
Initially, both suspects confessed to selling meth in Muang Thong Thani for over two years. The incident caused panic among many residents in Muang Thong Thani after a series of gunshots were heard. The police have taken both suspects into custody to proceed with legal action.
