
The Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD) police issued a summons for Krityich Pak-Ichan, Member of Parliament for Trang's 3rd District from the Democrat Party, along with his elder brothers, to acknowledge charges of evading 7.4 million baht in taxes.
Regarding the case in which the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD) issued a summons for Mr. Krityich Pak-Ichan, Trang MP from the Democrat Party, to acknowledge charges related to alleged tax evasion during the years 2016 to 2019.
The latest update at 13:00 on 16 Mar 2026 at Division 2 of the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD), Pol. Col. Naruphon Karuna, Superintendent of Division 2, commented on the case involving Mr. Krityich Pak-Ichan, Trang MP for District 3 from the Democrat Party, and his brothers, who were summoned by investigators from Division 2, ECD, to acknowledge charges of evading 7.4 million baht in taxes.
Today, the younger elder brother of Mr. Krityich Pak-Ichan came to acknowledge the charges. Investigators informed him of the tax evasion charges and subsequently released him, as he came voluntarily according to the summons and showed no behavior suggesting flight risk. Mr. Krityich Pak-Ichan himself arrived and made a police report.
In the tax evasion case, investigators have issued summonses to the legal entity, the eldest elder brother, and the younger elder brother of Mr. Krityich Pak-Ichan, as well as to Mr. Krityich Pak-Ichan himself. The eldest elder brother has not yet been contacted.
Reports indicate that this case, spanning 2016 to 2019, involves Mr. Krityich Pak-Ichan’s family business. The family operated a partnership in the construction contracting business since 1987. Later, Mr. Krityich’s father took over the management. After his father's passing, the business was inherited by his wife and children. However, after some time, the business faced harassment in the construction sector, resulting in losses and failure to pay taxes amounting to 1.7 million baht. Including accrued interest, the total debt reached 7.4 million baht.
