The Ang Thong provincial energy office has filed a complaint against a fuel company for failing to issue oil transportation invoices to the "Ang Thong Oil Depot."
Updates on the case: police from the Consumer Protection Division, together with the provincial commerce and energy offices, inspected an oil depot in Ang Thong province.
At 08:45 on 23 March 2026, Mr. Kongkiat Kittikun, Ang Thong's provincial energy officer, arrived at Muang Ang Thong Police Station with documents to file a complaint. The complaint concerns a fuel company that did not issue transportation invoices to an oil distribution company operating an oil depot in Ang Thong, which was inspected by the Consumer Protection Police Division from the Central Investigation Bureau on 19 March 2026.
According to evidence gathered by the Consumer Protection Police Division on 19 March 2026, the fuel company purchased oil from the depot seven times. The oil was supposed to be delivered either to their own company in Bangkok or, if delivered elsewhere, the destination must be clearly stated on the transportation invoice.
However, the oil was delivered to a company operating an oil depot in Muang district, Ang Thong, which is a violation of Section 30 of the Fuel Trade Act B.E. 2543 (2000). Under Section 56, the offender faces up to one year in prison, a fine up to 100,000 baht, or both.
