A man was arrested for killing and dismembering his Laotian girlfriend after mysterious black bags containing human body parts were found discarded along the Pak Kret Waterworks Canal in Nonthaburi Province. Police are rushing to find the remaining parts.
At 20:00 on 24 Mar 2016, investigators from Pak Kret Police Station, together with detectives from Thung Song Hong Police Station, searched the area along the Waterworks Canal road near the entrance to a well-known school to find body parts of a Laotian woman. Her Laotian boyfriend had murdered and dismembered her in the Thung Song Hong jurisdiction and then brought the parts to dispose of them in Pak Kret police jurisdiction.
The first item, believed to be the head, was wrapped in a black bag with a towel wrapped around it and thrown into the canal near the school entrance. About 50 meters away, the second black bag was hidden in roadside grass. Another 20 meters further, the third black bag was found, and 10 meters beyond that, in a deserted alley, the fourth black bag was found resting against a wall.
Authorities have requested volunteers to help locate the remaining bags. Police have arrested the suspect and, during initial questioning, confirmed the victim was from Laos. She was murdered and dismembered in a room in the Thung Song Hong area. Previously, Thung Song Hong police arrested the suspect, also from Laos, who confessed to killing and dismembering the victim before dumping the body parts in the described location.
