Exposed: “Tom,” the alleged killer who dismembered his Laotian girlfriend’s body, hired a rider to dispose of black bags; actually a skilled cook with expertise in knife use.
On 25 March 2026, reporters updated on the case of Mr. Tom, a Laotian national suspected of killing and dismembering his girlfriend, Ms. Ram, also from Laos, then placing the body parts in black bags to dispose of them in the Pak Kret Police Station area, Nonthaburi Province.
Recently, reporters visited the crime scene, an apartment room in Soi Champee, Chaeng Watthana 14. Police there requested cooperation to prevent the news team from interfering with evidence, as they are still collecting further evidence.
Later, reporters spoke with Ms. Ruang, the apartment’s housekeeper, who said that normally Tom was a quiet person, as was Ms. Ram. They mostly went out shopping together, with Ms. Ram usually paying.
Previously, they lived in another apartment and had only moved here three months ago. Ms. Ram went to work in Pattaya at the beginning of March, and Tom followed to live with her on 22 March, as shown by CCTV.
At the time, no one suspected anything unusual, thinking it was a normal visit. But it later emerged that after committing the crime, Tom called a rider to take away the black bags containing his girlfriend’s dismembered body, each trip taking just 20 minutes, except for when he personally disposed of two bags near the soi entrance.
After the killing, Tom’s behavior included disposing of both a backpack and black bags; after discarding the bags, he would return with the backpack. Oddly, Tom was a quiet man who worked as a cook at a hospital. His friend said he was very skilled with knives in cooking. Now, no one knows what will happen next; after this matter is resolved, a monk will likely be invited to perform a ritual at the apartment again.
