
Police are urgently seeking the owner after discovering 400 methamphetamine pills discarded by the roadside in Pa Sak Subdistrict, Lamphun Province, highlighting a severe drug outbreak in the area.
At 3:00 p.m. on 25 Mar 2026, Mr. Suchart Pingsan, Mayor of Pa Sak Subdistrict, Mueang District, Lamphun Province, received a report from a concerned citizen about suspicious items abandoned along a roadside in Ban Pa Sak, Village No. 3, Mueang District.
Initial inspection revealed two zip-lock bags, one blue and one black, tied together with a rubber band. Each contained 200 round, flat methamphetamine pills stamped with 'WY', totaling 400 pills.
After receiving the report, officials coordinated with officers from Muang Chi Police Station, led by Lieutenant Colonel Bowornkiat Trirujiranon, Deputy Superintendent of Prevention and Suppression, and Lieutenant Thanaphat Lertpapat, also Deputy Superintendent of Prevention and Suppression, along with patrol units, to inspect the area and collect the evidence.
The authorities have initially submitted the evidence to the investigators for legal proceedings and are intensifying efforts to identify who abandoned the drugs in the area.
