
A man from a gold trading company mistakenly transferred over 14 million baht to the wrong account and was very relieved when police from Phra Ratchawang Police Station helped recover the entire amount.
On 27 Mar 2026, Pol. Lt. Gen. Siam Boonsom, Commissioner of Metropolitan Police Bureau, and Pol. Maj. Gen. Wasan Techakrakasem, Deputy Commissioner, overseeing the Metropolitan Police Operations Center, instructed Pol. Maj. Gen. Chaikrit Phoa-a, Commander of Metropolitan Police Division 6, Pol. Col. Narinchot Pongpithanon, Deputy Commander of Division 6, Pol. Col. Pawat Watsuphat, Chief of Phra Ratchawang Police Station, investigators, and relevant officers to jointly return the money to the victim at the operations room of Phra Ratchawang Police Station in Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok, on 26 Mar 2026.
The victim, a gold trading company, mistakenly transferred 14,907,807 baht to the wrong account on the day of the incident and reported it to Phra Ratchawang Police Station. Investigators took the complaint and coordinated efforts, successfully recovering the full amount and arranged for its return to the victim.
The victim expressed thanks to the officers at Phra Ratchawang Police Station for their swift and diligent assistance, which led to the full recovery of the funds.
