Key Evidence Revealed in Shooting Death of Contractor on M6 Motorway

Authorities obtained footage from a good Samaritan's dashcam showing a suspicious SUV aggressively tailgating before the body of a prominent contractor was found shot dead on the M6 Motorway. Investigators are urgently examining the case and issuing summonses to those involved.

At approximately 20:00 on 28 March 2026, the Highway Police Division 3, Group 8, along with officers from Sung Noen Police Station, received a report from a tow truck operator about a deceased male found lying by the roadside on Motorway No. 6, at kilometer 172, between Bung Khi Lek and Non Kha subdistricts, Sung Noen District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, on the inbound side toward Nakhon Ratchasima city.

Upon arrival, officers found the body of Mr. Supakorn Traiphopklang, also known as Golf, aged 30, a technician for a well-known construction contractor, lying dead on the shoulder. Nearby was a pickup truck bearing license plate 4 ฒง 4536 Bangkok, with a company sticker indicating it belongs to a business specializing in interior and exterior design and decoration.

Preliminary examination revealed the deceased was shot with a shotgun, with wounds on the right shoulder and the left hip extending to the back. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities secured the area for detailed evidence collection before sending the body for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

Today (30 March 2026), updates on the case emerged with crucial evidence in the form of video footage from a good Samaritan's dashcam passing through the area during the incident, as well as high-angle CCTV footage. The suspicious vehicles were identified as a white Mitsubishi Pajero SUV of unknown registration aggressively tailgating the victim's car, accompanied by a red sedan that cut in front and attempted to brake to force the victim's vehicle to stop. The good Samaritan reported seeing the three vehicles stopped on the shoulder, with occupants conversing before the victim was found shot dead behind his vehicle.

Officers from Sung Noen Police Station, together with investigators from Provincial Police Region 3 and Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Police, have gathered evidence and are tracking the two suspect vehicles to expedite the case resolution. Seven witnesses have been interviewed, and summonses for those related to the case are being prepared.
