Authorities Accelerate Search for Suspect Vehicle and Interview Nearly 10 Witnesses to Solve Shooting on M6 Motorway

The Nakhon Ratchasima Police Chief revealed progress in solving the shooting on the M6 Motorway, having interviewed nearly 10 witnesses to connect the events. Authorities are urgently pursuing a suspicious vehicle and expect to close the case soon.

In the case where the body of Mr. Supakorn Traiphopklang, or Golf, aged 30, a technician at a well-known construction company, was found dead on the shoulder of the M6 Motorway at kilometer 172, between Bung Khi Lek and Non Kha subdistricts, in Sung Noen district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, on the inbound side toward the city. Nearby, a pickup truck with license plate 4 ฒง 4536 Bangkok was found, displaying a sticker of a company specializing in interior and exterior architectural design.

Later, dashcam footage from a good Samaritan captured a suspicious SUV aggressively tailgating the pickup truck. The footage showed three vehicles stopping on the shoulder, until the deceased was found, as previously reported.

The latest update on 31 Mar 2026 came from Police Major General Narongsak Promtha, Commander of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Police. He said that after the shocking incident where the suspect used a shotgun to kill Mr. Supakorn, aged 30, on Motorway No. 6 in Sung Noen district, Nakhon Ratchasima, police mobilized forces from multiple units, including the provincial police, Region 3 police investigation division, and local Sung Noen police. They promptly examined the scene to resolve the case quickly, and significant progress has been made.


Regarding the suspicious vehicle seen in social media, authorities are continuously investigating. Since the images are unclear, a detailed tracing process is necessary to confirm the vehicle's identity and its connection to the incident. So far, nearly 10 witnesses have been questioned to gather information linking the events.

The investigation is focusing on several angles, including the vehicle used and possible personal conflicts involving those concerned. Detailed evidence is being collected, and if sufficient clarity emerges, authorities will promptly seek court warrants for those involved. Officials continue to gather in-depth information to ensure a thorough and solid case, expecting to resolve and close the case soon.
