"Deputy Tao" is awaiting which agency the police will assign to handle three online gambling case files involving "Big Joke" after the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) decided to return the cases to the police for further action.
At 13:00 on 1 Apr 2026 GMT+7, at the Anti-Corruption Division (ACD), Police Major General Jaroonkiat Pan-kaew, Deputy Commander of the Crime Suppression Division, disclosed that the NACC committee had decided to return three case files involving Police General Surachate Hakparn, former Deputy Commissioner-General of Police, and associates to the police for continuation, noting that the cases involve multiple offenses. He said that currently, the three case files returned by the NACC are at the Royal Thai Police Headquarters, where a committee will consider which unit to assign to handle them.
Deputy Commander Jaroonkiat added that if the cases are assigned to the Anti-Corruption Division, they are committed to expediting the investigations, confident they can handle the files promptly and thoroughly since investigators have already made progress. Once the evidence is compiled, both the complainants and the accused will be summoned for statements before the case files are forwarded to the prosecution for further consideration.
