Foreman Shooter Dies on M6, Stressed First Night in Jail Authorities Pursue Female Accomplice Still at Large

The suspect who shot a foreman to death on Motorway 6 is stressed during his first night in jail under 24-hour watch. The motive is suspected to be a love affair. Authorities are urgently searching for a female accomplice who remains on the run, believed to have left the area.,

Regarding the case,officialspolice took Mr. Kueakoon Sombat into custody. He is suspected of shooting Mr. Supakorn Traiphong, known as Golf, 30 years old, a foreman at a well-known company, resulting in his death on Motorway No. 6 (M6).At the time,in Sung Noen District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, officials conducted an interrogation.

Investigation revealed that after the incident, the suspect fled in a white Mitsubishi Pajero with license plates from Lopburi Province to a residence in Lopburi along with a woman. Police later apprehended him and brought him back to Sung Noen Police Station in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. They expanded the investigation by searching for evidence from the crime scene such as firearms and bags, and took the suspect to reenact the crime scene as part of his confession. Afterwards, he was brought back to the police station for further detailed interrogation, personally overseen by Police Major General Narongsak Promtha, Commander of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Police.


Police Major General Narongsak Promtha, Commander of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Police, stated that during interrogation, the gunman gave information helpful to the case and confessed to firing the weapon that killed the victim. He admitted to having a close relationship with the woman who was involved and is currently on the run. The crime was premeditated. Whether anyone hired them is under further investigation. Police request time to work on resolving the case. Anyone involved is urged to turn themselves in promptly to face legal proceedings.under the law.

Meanwhile, on 2 April at Sung Noen Police Station, officials reported that the suspect spent his first night in jail showing signs of considerable stress, experiencing poor sleep and limited communication, keeping his head down most of the time. Police are maintaining 24-hour surveillance.

After being held by the police under legal authority for 48 hours, the suspect will be sent to court for prosecution. The investigating officers have charged him with "premeditated attempted murder."


The other suspect, a woman, remains at large. Police are intensively pursuing her, believing she has fled Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Authorities affirm they will expedite efforts to apprehend the remaining suspect and bring her to justice as soon as possible.
