Nikorn Admits Wrongdoing, Apologizes to Kristin, Confesses to Taking Photos of Victim in a Moment of Impulse

Nikorn admitted his wrongdoing and apologized for damaging the reputation of the rescue unit. He expressed a desire to apologize to Kristin and confessed to taking photos of the victim, explaining it was a momentary impulse with no other intent.

In the case of Ms. Kulsatri Misaralski, known as Kristin, a Thai-German model and actress, who filed a complaint with Khlong Tan police after being molested by a former rescue volunteer while unconscious due to a panic attack. The suspect lifted her shirt and pants and filmed her inside a condominium on Soi Pridi Banomyong 45, Wattana district, Bangkok, at 03:30 on 31 March.

Subsequently, the investigators at Khlong Tan police station requested the Bangkok South Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Nikorn, or Korn, age 35, from Chanthaburi province, warrant number จ.0395/2569 dated 1 April 2026, on charges of indecent acts against a person over 15 years old by coercion or force while the victim was unable to resist, or causing the victim to mistake the suspect for another person. It was also found that the suspect was formerly a rescue volunteer with a foundation in Sa Kaeo province, as previously reported.Read more: Arrest warrant issued for rescue volunteer molesting "Kristin" while she was unconscious and awaiting help in her room.)

Later, at 15:30 today (2 April) at Khlong Tan police station, Police Colonel Phumiyot Lekkla, Deputy Commander of Division 5, along with Police Colonel Phisit Meewiriyakul, Chief of Khlong Tan police station, and Police Lieutenant Colonel Kitt Yungmee, Deputy Chief of Investigation at Khlong Tan police, jointly interrogated Nikorn, or Korn, age 35, from Chanthaburi.

Reporters noted that as officers brought Korn out for questioning, they asked if he wanted to apologize to the victim. Korn replied, "I want to apologize to all rescue units for causing damage to their reputation and to the victim. It was a momentary lapse of judgment. I did not know the victim and had no intention to violate her."

When asked if he intended to rape the victim, Korn responded, "No, I did not think about that, and I have never done this to anyone else before."

The suspect raised his hands in a traditional Thai wai gesture and said, "I want to apologize to all rescue units. The fault is mine alone. I did everything myself and never used the rescue unit's name as a cover. It was all a moment of weakness. I admit I did not know the victim. At the time of the incident, the building caretaker was downstairs for about one minute. I affirm I have no history of such behavior with anyone else."

When asked how he infiltrated the rescue group’s Line chat, Korn said he had been a volunteer for a long time and never infiltrated it. Currently, he is no longer a volunteer but has experience. He admitted to taking photos of the victim but only kept them and deleted them afterward, confirming he did not distribute them.

He sincerely apologized to the victim for his actions and wished to ask for forgiveness. He also apologized to the rescue units, emphasizing he had no intention of involving any foundation, Korn said.

Police Colonel Phumiyot Lekkla, Deputy Commander of Division 5, said investigators will take the suspect for a detention hearing at the Bangkok South Criminal Court tomorrow morning, 3 April.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jirawat Homchat, 57, a volunteer with Sawang Sa Kaeo rescue foundation, stated that Nikorn had indeed been a rescue volunteer stationed at Khao Tangok during his time there. The perpetrator was considered a devoted volunteer who would promptly respond to calls for help involving patients, injured persons, and emergencies as part of his duty.

The foundation’s procedure requires volunteers to undergo training and evaluation before becoming full staff, with strict behavior assessments. Nikorn later resigned and moved to Bangkok to work with a private company handling patient transport and body transfers, no longer affiliated with the rescue foundation. The rescue uniform found in his vehicle was confirmed authentic but from after he had stopped volunteering.

When asked about any negative behavior, especially sexual harassment, Mr. Jirawat affirmed that during their time working together, he never observed such conduct. Colleagues and supervisors expressed shock and disappointment over the incident, as the suspect was known as a long-time community helper. They stressed that if he is guilty, the legal process must take its course.

Additionally, rescue officials revealed that volunteer recruitment involves strict screening, especially in border areas, including background checks and close coordination with police, military, and local authorities.

However, so far the information has come only from the media, and officials have not yet had a chance to speak directly with the suspect. They stated they want to hear the facts directly from the suspect as well.
