Body of Woman Found After Falling from M6 Motorway Shooter Claims She Ordered the Foreman’s Murder Before Taking Her Own Life

Authorities found the body of a 28-year-old woman who fell from the M6 motorway. The suspect who shot the foreman claimed that the deceased planned and ordered the shooting before driving to the crime scene and then taking her own life in front of him.

In the case where police detained Mr. Kuakool Sombat, the suspect in the shooting of Mr. Supakorn Traiphopklang, or Golf, 30, a foreman at a well-known company, who died on Motorway No. 6 (M6) near Sung Noen District, Nakhon Ratchasima. Police are investigating the motive, suspected to be a love affair, and are currently seeking to question a woman believed to be connected to the case, as previously reported.

Latest update: On the afternoon of 2 Apr 2026, investigative teams from Sung Noen Police Station and Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Police received a report of a body found. The deceased, Ms. Chompoonut, 28, wearing a black jacket and cream-colored pants, was found in acacia trees between the outbound and inbound lanes of the M6 motorway in Nakhon Ratchasima, opposite Thao Suranaree Park, Ban Khao Noi, Nong Sarai Subdistrict, Pak Chong District. This matches the statement of Mr. Kuakool, who told police that Ms. Chompoonut planned the shooting and drove him to shoot Mr. Supakorn, with Mr. Kuakool crouching behind the rear door of the car holding an automatic shotgun.


Ms. Chompoonut reportedly forced Mr. Supakorn’s pickup truck to stop by driving closely beside it, then ordered Mr. Kuakool to open the rear door of the Pajero and shoot Mr. Supakorn once, followed by two more shots, killing him. She then drove them away along the M6 motorway toward Pak Chong District. Upon reaching Suranaree Park, Nong Sarai Subdistrict, Pak Chong, Ms. Chompoonut stopped the car, turned on the hazard lights, told Mr. Kuakool she would take her own life, then got out and ran to jump from the motorway, approximately 25 meters to the ground. Mr. Kuakool, shocked, fled to his home in Lopburi Province until police arrested him. Ms. Chompoonut was from Lat Krabang, Bangkok, and worked as a loan officer at a bank.

Later, Major General Narongsak Promtha, Commander of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Police, along with Lt. Col. Wichanont Bophimai, Deputy Chief of Investigation, Nakhon Ratchasima Police, Police Colonel It Boonyarit, Chief of Sung Noen Police Station, officers from Nong Sarai Police Station in Pak Chong, and rescue workers from Sawang Vichatham Sathan Pak Chong arrived at the scene, accompanied by on-call doctors from Pak Chong Nana Hospital and forensic police. Neither rescue teams nor media were permitted to enter the crime scene.
