Detention of Former Rescuer Nikon for Molesting Kristin Bail Opposed as Social Threat

Klongtan police escorted "Nikon," a former lewd rescuer, to be detained at the South Bangkok Criminal Court, opposing bail on the grounds that he is a threat to society. He remained silent and did not respond to media questions.

The case involves Ms. Kulsatri Misaralski, also known as Kristin, a Thai-German model and actress, who filed a complaint with Klongtan police. She reported being molested by a rescue volunteer while unconscious from drug-induced panic, with her clothes pulled up and filmed with a mobile phone. The incident occurred inside a condominium in Soi Pridi Banomyong 45, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana district, Bangkok, on 31 March at 03:30.

Subsequently, investigators at Klongtan police station requested the South Bangkok Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Mr. Nikon Sethom, 35, from Chanthaburi province, case number J.0395/2569 dated 1 April 2026. He is charged with indecent acts against a person over 15 years old by threatening or using violent force while the victim was unable to resist or was mistaken about the perpetrator’s identity. It was found that the suspect was formerly a rescue volunteer at a foundation in Sa Kaeo province, as previously reported.

Most recently, at 09:30 on 3 April at Klongtan police station, Pol. Col. Phisit Meewiriyakun, superintendent of Klongtan police, assigned investigators to take Nikon Sethom, also known as Korn, 35, to be detained at the South Bangkok Criminal Court on charges of "indecent acts against a person over 15 years old by threatening or using violent force while the victim was unable to resist or was mistaken about the perpetrator’s identity."

Reporters noted that as officers brought Nikon from the detention room to the vehicle for transfer to the court, he appeared expressionless and kept his head down at all times, refusing to answer any questions from the media.

Initially, investigators opposed bail both during the police investigation and at the court, citing the serious penalties involved and the defendant’s threat to society.
