Police from Investigation Division 1 Raid and Arrest Suspects in Online Gambling Case Vest of Police Commission Found in Chonburi Area

Investigation Division 1 police conducted raids at 15 locations, arresting a total of 11 suspects linked to an online gambling case. During a search of a Benz car, they found a Police Commission vest from a police station in the Chonburi area.

At 06:00 on 8 April 2026, Pol. Maj. Gen. Worachart Saenkham, Commander of Investigation Division 1, Pol. Maj. Gen. Kiattisak Sarathongoi, Commander of Investigation Division 2, Pol. Col. Prathan Nuntakobkul, Deputy Commander of Investigation Division 1, Pol. Col. Witit Chan-iem, Deputy Commander of Investigation Division 1, Pol. Col. Poonsuk Techaprasertporn, Head of Division 1, Investigation Division 1, and Pol. Col. Napathorn Wachaiyung, Head of Intelligence Analysis, led officers from Investigation Divisions 1 and 2 to conduct raids at 15 locations under warrants related to an online gambling case. The police had learned that the online gambling website named SAFA 55 was openly offering various forms of gambling to the public. They collected evidence and handed it to investigators at Bang Kruai Police Station in Nonthaburi Province, which issued arrest warrants for 11 suspects.




The first raid targeted a two-story townhouse in Village No. 5, Huay Kapi Subdistrict, Mueang Chonburi District. There, police arrested Ms. Premphinpha Woranatchyakorn, 41, the homeowner, who was wanted under Nonthaburi Provincial Court warrant No. 474/2569. She was charged with jointly organizing gambling, advertising or soliciting gambling, and money laundering, or knowingly allowing others to use her bank account, electronic card, or electronic account for criminal activities related to technology crimes or other offenses.

At another location during a vehicle search, officers found a Police Commission vest belonging to a police station in the Chonburi area inside a Benz car.




At other sites, police arrested 10 additional suspects under the same charges. They seized 14 mobile phones, 3 computers and laptops, 19 sets of bank passbooks, ATM cards, and SIM card envelopes linked to bank accounts, one black Mercedes-Benz E250 with license plate 4 กญ 9669 Bangkok, one black Toyota Vios with license plate 2 กฌ 2937 Bangkok, and 234,000 baht in cash.

After the arrests, the suspects were taken to Saen Suk Police Station in Chonburi Province for record-taking before being transferred along with the seized evidence to Bang Kruai Police Station in Nonthaburi Province to proceed with legal action.
