“Nak Charlie” Submits Evidence in Over 10 Million Baht Theft Case to “Big Tao” After Nearly a Year of Silence

“Nak Charlie” submitted evidence in a case involving theft of assets worth over 10 million baht to “Big Tao” after nearly a year of silence. He emphasized he does not want conflict but demands justice. He said all the antique guns were collected out of love and hold priceless sentimental value.

At 14:30 on 8 Apr 2026 GMT+7 at the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Mr. Charlie Trairat, known as “Nak Charlie,” a famous actor, met with Police Major General Jaroonkiat Pankaew, Deputy Commander of CIB, to request assistance in following up on a case where assets valued at over 10 million baht—including 65 registered antique guns, musical instruments, cash, and gold jewelry—were stolen from his residence since May 2025.

Nak Charlie revealed that he had reported the case at Chokchai Police Station, but the investigation had made no progress for nearly a year. He said society regarded him as seeking attention like "the boy who cried wolf," even though he had been pointing out clues and conducting his own inquiries. He believes the perpetrators are people he once cared for and that they may have close connections with some police officers, causing the delay.

“I deeply regret losing all 65 antique guns, each properly registered. I collected and cared for them with love. If the police had acted promptly, we might have recovered them intact. I don’t mind the other missing items, but these guns hold priceless sentimental value. Anyone who buys them must be prosecuted for receiving stolen goods because these are firearms in the wrong hands,” Nak Charlie said.

Nak Charlie also said that until now, no senior officials had offered help. However, once the case gained public attention, some people contacted him. He refused to engage, insisting the matter should proceed fully through legal channels.

Police Major General Jaroonkiat said that initially, he coordinated with the superintendent of Chokchai Police Station and the investigative team from Metropolitan Police Division 4. The three suspects—Mr. Aon, Mr. Tee, and Mr. Art—continue to deny the charges. Prosecutors plan to file the case on 25 April. Since the victim remains concerned, he has ordered the Crime Suppression Division to support the investigation.,This will be done in cooperation with local police to expedite the recovery of the stolen items.
