
Police have arrested the owner of a big bike shop who ran a consignment business but absconded with the money. Actors and models have been identified as victims, with total damages exceeding 10 million baht.
On 8 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Pol. Lt. Gen. Natsak Chawanasai, Commander of the Crime Suppression Division, ordered Pol. Maj. Gen. Tatsapoom Jaruprat, Commander of the Economic Crime Division, Pol. Col. Winyoo Jamsai, Acting Superintendent of Division 3, and Pol. Lt. Patrawut Damrat, Investigator of Division 6, to arrest Mr. Wisanu, 37, under warrants issued by the Taling Chan Criminal Court No. 138/2021 dated 20 Apr 2021 for embezzlement, and the Thonburi Provincial Court No. 367/2022 dated 4 Jul 2022 for embezzlement and fraud. He was apprehended near a 7-Eleven in Nong Prue Subdistrict (Sriwara Noi), Si Racha Krachai Yai Subdistrict, Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan Province.
The suspect operated a big bike motorcycle consignment shop in the Wongwian Yai area. After appearing on a popular matchmaking TV show, he leveraged his reputation in the big bike community, attracting many customers who trusted him to sell their motorcycles. However, after selling the bikes, he did not remit the proceeds to the owners. Initial investigations found 10 victims, including well-known actors and models, with total losses exceeding 10 million baht.
Investigators gathered evidence and obtained arrest warrants. They later learned the suspect had fled and was working as a karaoke bar manager in Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan Province. Police then moved in to arrest him.
During interrogation, the suspect confessed to all charges. He was subsequently taken to Bang Yikhan Police Station for legal proceedings.
