Updates on the case of Police Lieutenant Jirasak Srikatthanam, 54, known as Lieutenant Jo, an investigator at Pattaya City Police Station, who, while intoxicated and out of control, shot Mr. Phattharathorn Jirachokchayakul, or King, 41, owner of a cannabis shop, resulting in his death. The incident occurred behind the cannabis shop on Walking Street, South Pattaya, Chonburi Province, as previously reported.
The latest update: after the Pattaya City Police brought Lieutenant Jo to Pattaya Provincial Court for the first detention hearing, relatives posted 500,000 baht in cash to request bail. However, the court rejected the bail application and immediately sent Lieutenant Jirasak Srikatthanam to Pattaya Special Prison.
