On 24 April 2026 at the Natural Resources and Environment Case Division, Government Complex, Building C, 9th Floor, Chaeng Watthana Road, Bangkok, Mr. Atchariya Ruangrattanapong, chairman of the Crime Victims Assistance Club, addressed allegations of extortion alongside Pol. Col. Watcharapol Kanjanakuntra, Superintendent 3, Immigration Police Division. He said he cannot discuss case details as the court granted bail for him to fight the case, and he must strictly follow the court’s conditions.
He affirmed that he has worked for society for 15 years and said everyone already knows what kind of person he is. He urged people, especially his fans, to wait for the verdict first, after which the truth will be revealed.
He also asked people to recall the Chom Sap teacher case, noting he was the only one opposing public opinion. Now that he is the defendant, he is not overly concerned. He thanked the media and the police for their overnight care, affirmed he holds no anger over the situation, recognizing everyone’s right to use the law, and that he must respond to the accusations.
Therefore, he urged confidence that once the verdict is announced, everyone will know the truth.
Additionally, Mr. Atchariya clarified the issue of the outstanding food bill of 2,420 baht at Tee House restaurant on Rama VI Road, Phaya Thai district, Bangkok, which police cited before his arrest. He said he has already paid it and there is no outstanding debt.
