Six Serious Charges Filed Against LGBTQ Man for Abusing Over 10 Boys He Denies but Later Admits Claiming Self-Defense

Police at Nong Kham Police Station have filed six serious charges against an LGBTQ man accused of sexually abusing more than 10 boys. The suspect denies the allegations. Yesterday, Boon Panadda visited the area to investigate. The suspect admitted to the acts, claiming he acted in self-defense after being attacked first.

In the case involving Ms. Sa (a pseudonym), 47, the guardian of a 13-year-old boy named Ae (a pseudonym), who filed a complaint with the police that her son was sexually abused by Mr. Kitti, 35, an LGBTQ man. After the incident, they took the boy for a medical examination at Laem Chabang Hospital and reported it to the investigators at Nong Kham Police Station. However, the case went quiet for over a year, as previously reported.

At 10:00 a.m. today (27 Apr), reporters visited Nong Kham Police Station in Si Racha District, Chonburi Province, to follow up on the case. Officials from the Chonburi Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office escorted over 10 child victims for medical examinations at Laem Chabang Hospital. They also met with Police Colonel Komkrit Manjit, chief of Nong Kham Police Station, for further questioning along with other officers.

Police Colonel Komkrit Manjit, chief of Nong Kham Police Station, stated that authorities are currently gathering additional evidence and assured that legal procedures are being followed strictly. The suspect faces charges including: abducting a child under 15 years old away from their parent or guardian for profit or lewd acts; taking a child under 15 years old for lewd purposes even with consent; raping a child under 13 years old who is not a spouse, regardless of consent; committing indecent acts on a child under 13 years old, regardless of consent; causing bodily harm not resulting in serious injury; and coercing someone to act or refrain from acting out of fear of harm to life, body, freedom, reputation, or property.

Meanwhile, the suspect has denied the charges, but authorities remain skeptical and will continue legal proceedings.

Last night (26 Apr), Boon Panadda Wongpudi, Chairperson of the Doing Good Foundation, along with officials from the Department of Children and Youth and police officers, visited the area to provide psychological support to over 10 child victims. They also invited Mr. Kitti to discuss the circumstances surrounding the incidents.

Local residents aware of the case gathered to watch the suspect. Some could not contain their anger and tried to physically confront him, but officials intervened and secured the area.

Last night, Mr. Kitti admitted to being the perpetrator, explaining that prior to the incidents, while returning to his village, he had been physically attacked by the group of children. He claimed his actions were in self-defense.

Boon Panadda revealed that after learning about the abuse of children dating back to late 2023, with no legal action taken against the suspect, she visited the area. Upon arrival, she found that over 10 children in the village had been abused and sexually assaulted. Discussions with the suspect confirmed he admitted to committing the offenses.
