On 28 April 2026, reporters reported that on 24 April, the Criminal Court read the verdict in case number Ar1823/2568, where Corporal Nisathit Khaptep was the plaintiff suing Mr. Siradonai Plaiduang, known as Councilor Golf, Mr. Pongthep Freedom, Mr. Numsak Thongsri, Mr. Rapeepong Sawitchookaeo, Mr. Sarayuth Nuchaykaew, Mr. Jakpong Thepchum, Mr. Yotsaran Suaban Khok, Mr. Arnap Khaomak, and Mr. Paisol Saisalam as defendants 1-9. They were charged with being members and leaders of a criminal gang; failing to obey lawful orders from officials without reasonable excuse; jointly causing others to commit offenses of assaulting an official acting in their duty or due to that duty with premeditation; resisting or obstructing officials performing their duties by using violence, with at least three people involved and armed; and unlawfully disturbing the possession of government property.[crime, court case, defendants, assault, obstruction]

The court ruled that the defendants committed multiple offenses and shall be punished for each under Section 41 of the Penal Code. Defendants 2 through 9 were each sentenced to 1 year imprisonment for jointly being in a criminal gang; and 2 years for jointly resisting or obstructing officials with violence and weapons involving at least three persons. All nine defendants pleaded guilty after some prosecution witnesses testified, which was beneficial to the trial, resulting in mitigation and a one-third reduction in sentences under Section 78 of the Penal Code.
