
A tragic event in Saraburi where a woman driving a car struck her boyfriend riding a motorcycle, killing him, then got out and repeatedly stepped on his face, disregarding the eyes of passing drivers. After the incident, she turned herself in to police. The victim's sister suspects the motive behind the incident.
On 6 May 2026, reporters noted that a clip shared widely on social media from a Facebook user showed a black car crashing into a motorcycle, causing it to fall. The female driver then stopped, got out, and repeatedly stepped on the motorcyclist’s face. The post questioned, “Isn’t this going too far? Why treat my brother like this?”
According to information, the incident occurred in the morning on Phahonyothin Road heading into Saraburi at kilometer 101, Nong Yao Subdistrict, Mueang District, Saraburi Province. The man riding the motorcycle died at the scene.
Subsequently, reporters contacted Ms. Beer (a pseudonym), 38, the sister of Mr. Bank (a pseudonym), 37, the deceased. She explained that the woman driving the car, named Jib, was her brother’s new girlfriend.They had been dating only a short time.Before the incident, the two frequently argued. On 29 April, Ms. Jib had a fight with her brother and tried to stab him with a knife, but he managed to escape.
Rescue worker Mr. Joe said the female driver was believed to be the deceased’s wife. She said she argued with her husband because he had left her financially ruined, and asked for help with the injured man. She intended to surrender at Mueang Saraburi Police Station. She said she had followed him by car, and when she saw him riding the motorcycle, she deliberately rammed him.
The motive is believed to be related to money or jealousy. The sister thinks her brother was trying to distance himself, and she is certain Ms. Jib intentionally hit her brother with the car.
Regarding the case, Police Lieutenant Panawat Panrat, deputy investigator at Mueang Saraburi Police Station, questioned Ms. Jib. After the autopsy of Mr. Bank’s body, it was handed over to his family for religious funeral rites.
Police investigators at Mueang Saraburi Police Station said the perpetrator surrendered to police after hitting the victim. She said she had lived with the victim for about eight months since her former husband passed away, after which she received insurance money. She then began dating the victim, who had one child, and she also had a child. They frequently quarreled; the victim often insulted her and had a violent temper.
Additionally, the perpetrator claimed that before meeting the victim, she had nothing, and she had spent about one million baht supporting him. Recently, she began running out of money, and the victim tried to distance himself. When she called, he did not answer, claiming to be busy or not at home. On the day of the incident, she waited to intercept him and, upon seeing him leave, followed him by car. When he recognized her vehicle and tried to flee, she deliberately rammed him out of anger over his attempt to distance himself and the large sums she had spent.
News reporters obtained CCTV footage showing that after the perpetrator ran over the victim, she stopped her car, got out, and used her foot to repeatedly step on the victim’s face.
