Major Drug Agent Arrested for Mixing New Collagen Ecstasy Formula Distributed to Entertainment Venues Nationwide

Nonthaburi police from Pak Kret Police Station arrested a major drug agent who mixed a new formula called "collagen ecstasy." The drugs were divided into sachets labeled with the brand "Maow Jing" and distributed to entertainment venues nationwide.

At 13:00 on 6 May 2026, at the Nonthaburi Provincial Police Headquarters in Tha Sai Subdistrict, Mueang Nonthaburi District, Pol. Maj. Gen. Detrapee Kongdee, Commander of Nonthaburi Provincial Police, Pol. Col. Piyawut Kaewmanee, Deputy Commander, Pol. Col. Adirek Thongkaemkaew, Chief of Pak Kret Police Station, Pol. Lt. Col. Karun Limpirojnarit, Deputy Chief of Investigations at Pak Kret Police Station, along with investigation officers from Pak Kret Police Station,

jointly arrested Mr. Pongsathon Taengsri, 24, from Chonburi Province, with evidence including collagen packs—37 packs containing 15 sachets each, totaling 555 sachets—350 sachets of ecstasy mixed with collagen under the brand Maow Jing, one grinder, 1.2 kilograms of ecstasy, 176 ecstasy pills, 683.6 grams of crystal meth, 220,668 yaba pills, 65 rounds of .380 caliber ammunition, a weighing scale, one microwave oven, and numerous drug packaging tools.

He was charged with possession and distribution of Category 1 narcotics, specifically yaba and ecstasy.

This follows an earlier arrest on 5 May 2026, when Pak Kret Police apprehended Mr. Pongsathon with 281 yaba pills and 10 rounds of ammunition at a resort on Pak Kret Bypass Road, Bang Phut Subdistrict, Pak Kret District. Subsequent investigation and evidence review led to uncovering a drug stash at a condominium in Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province, where a large quantity of drugs was seized.

Upon questioning, Mr. Pongsathon admitted that all the drugs found in the condominium room belonged to him. He stated that he ground and mixed ecstasy into powder, then packaged it into sachets labeled "Maow Jing" for sale at entertainment venues. He obtained the drugs from Ayutthaya Province and stored them in the condominium awaiting further distribution.

Mr. Pongsathon explained that he sold drugs by mixing ecstasy with collagen products to increase volume, then supplied agents who sold them at entertainment venues nationwide. Deliveries were made to specified pickup points, where others collected the packages for sale. The "Maow Jing" product was packaged using a microwave oven and sent to customers by mail.

Initially, investigators seized all evidence and handed it over to the Pak Kret Police Station's prosecutors in Nonthaburi Province to proceed with legal action and continue investigating the suspect's network.
