Intentional Murder Charges Filed Against Woman Who Ran Over Boyfriend and Stomped on Him, Citing Personal Grudge

Police ordered the collection of evidence and charged a woman with "intentional murder" after she ran over her boyfriend and stomped on him in Saraburi. She admitted to lying in wait to commit the act, citing a personal grudge, and was brought before the court for detention.

On 6 May 2026, reporters reported that Ms. Jib (a pseudonym), 43, drove a car and hit Mr. Bank (a pseudonym), 37. Her boyfriend, who was riding a motorcycle, fell off. She then got out and stomped on his face repeatedly, disregarding passing traffic. The incident occurred on Phahonyothin Road, inbound to Saraburi at km 101, Nong Yao Subdistrict, Mueang District, Saraburi Province, earlier this morning. Afterward, she reported to police, claiming she was angry at the man for distancing himself after she spent all her money on him, as previously reported.

Regarding the case, Pol. Col. Sakchai Kraiweeradechachai, Superintendent of Mueang Saraburi Police Station, revealed that the suspect claimed she had been informed of a car accident at the location. Later, a good Samaritan notified police and provided dashcam footage, which showed that it was not a simple accident but a deliberate attack.

During questioning, the suspect said the incident stemmed from a personal grudge, citing jealousy. The couple lived together as a family. The suspect waited for the victim at the scene. When she saw him riding his motorcycle from home to the location, she drove her car to hit him and stomped on him repeatedly, as captured on the citizen's video. Based on this evidence, investigators are collecting more dashcam footage and witness statements to build the case.

Initially, investigators believe the act was intentional causing death. She was preliminarily charged with intentional murder. At 3:00 p.m., authorities brought Ms. Jib, 43, to Saraburi Provincial Court for her first detention hearing.

As officers took Ms. Jib from the interrogation room to the court for detention, reporters asked about the motive for the incident, but the suspect refused to comment.
