At approximately 19:20 on 6 May 2026 in Kanchanaburi Province, reporters confirmed that a 47-year-old man broke into his ex-girlfriend's home in Village 7, Lat Ya Subdistrict. After an argument with his former mother-in-law, he decided to use the firearm he carried to shoot the former mother-in-law and former sister-in-law, injuring them. Meanwhile, the former father-in-law who came to help was shot twice in the chest and died at the scene.
Subsequent reports stated that the former mother-in-law and former sister-in-law, who were shot and wounded, later died at the hospital.
Currently, police from the Lat Ya Police Station and administrative officers from the Mueang Kanchanaburi District are urgently pursuing the suspect, who remains on the run.
