On 7 May 2026, reports emerged regarding a well-known karma-correcting teacher from Lamphun province, who was accused by a 32-year-old businessman seeking help via the "Sai Mai Tong Rod" Facebook page. The businessman claimed the teacher instructed him to undergo a karma-correcting ritual, persuaded him to remove his clothes, and ultimately molested and performed oral sex on him.
Later, at 7:00 p.m. on 6 May 2026, reporters visited the accused teacher's home in Pa Sang district, Lamphun province. Upon arrival in the evening, the teacher had already closed the house and retired for the night, though visitors continued to come to see the teacher's devotees.
In conversations with the teacher's devotees, it was learned that the teacher is aware of the allegations. Initially, he wished to publicly clarify his side, but his lawyer advised against it, fearing it might negatively affect the legal case. He is prepared to proceed through the legal process as required.
Many of the teacher's devotees do not believe he would act in such a way and trust that he will prove his innocence through legal channels. However, they question why the alleged victim, who is over 30 years old, with maturity and qualifications, did not call for help or at least push the teacher away. The teacher, over 60 years old, likely lacks the strength to resist. They also noted that the victim's mother was reportedly outside the room, and the teacher's caretakers were likely nearby. They wonder why there was no outcry at the time, which could have clarified the situation. The teacher is scheduled to resume meeting visitors on 7 May from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. as usual and is not expected to evade the situation.
