
“Oak, Aim, Ink” from the Shinawatra family visited “Thaksin Shinawatra” for the last time, preparing for his parole starting Monday, 11 May 2026.
On 7 May 2026 at 10:00 a.m., at Klong Prem Central Prison on Ngamwongwan Road, Lat Yao Subdistrict, Chatuchak District, Bangkok, six members of the Shinawatra family, led by Mr. Panthongtae Shinawatra, also known as Oak, accompanied by his wife Ms. Natthiya Puangkam, or Tik, Ms. Pinthongta Shinawatra Kunakornwong, or Aim, with her husband Mr. Natthapong Kunakornwong, and Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, or Ink, former Prime Minister and advisor to the Pheu Thai Party, with her husband Mr. Pitak Suksawat, or Por, visited former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra for the 61st time.
Currently, Mr. Thaksin has been imprisoned at the facility for 7 months and 28 days, with only 4 days remaining before his supervised parole. He is scheduled to be released on parole from the prison on Monday, 11 May 2026 at 7:45 a.m.
Reporters noted that today marks a significant development as it is the final family visit (the 61st) before counting down to Monday, 11 May 2026, when the prison will release Mr. Thaksin to begin his supervised parole period of 4 months, with full completion of his sentence on 9 September 2026.
