Pol. Col. Teerachai Dedkhad, Deputy Commander of Metropolitan Police Division 9, led investigations at nine police stations in Tha Kham, Phetkasem, and Bang Bon to receive an outstanding award for arrests under warrants, cracking down on urban crime and building public confidence in the protection of life and property.
At 13:00 on 11 May 2026 GMT+7, Pol. Gen. Siam Boonsom, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, presided over the award ceremony recognizing units with outstanding performance in apprehending suspects under warrants and seizing firearms during 25 March to 5 April 2026 GMT+7. The event took place at the multipurpose yard of the Metropolitan Police Bureau to strengthen public confidence in safety and security of life and property.
The success of Metropolitan Police Division 9 resulted from the leadership and directives of Pol. Maj. Gen. Samart Promchat, Commander of Division 9, and Pol. Col. Teerachai Dedkhad, Deputy Commander of Division 9, along with the cooperation and dedication of officers in the Criminal Investigation Unit of Division 9.
The team was led by Pol. Col. Thitipong Siya of the Investigation Section; the Tha Kham Police Station under Pol. Col. Vichayanon Ekta-saeng; Phetkasem Police Station under Pol. Col. Pramot Janboonkaew; Bang Bon Police Station under Pol. Col. Thanamet Wichitchariya; and personnel from all units who continuously and earnestly pursued suspects under warrants and firearms. Their operational results have been evident and recognized at the Metropolitan Police Bureau level.
