A reporter spoke with Ms. Nok, 44, the perpetrator's first wife, who disclosed that she had been in a relationship with him for over two years. Recently, he began seeing the deceased woman, which she was aware of, but they lived separately and did not interfere with each other. He often spent time with the other woman. That morning, he called to confess he had unintentionally caused her death and was on his way to surrender at the police station. She followed him there and expressed relief that he accepted responsibility without fleeing. She said she will now leave the matter to the legal system.
Later, police at Bang Bua Thong Station took Mr. Winai to point out the crime scene at a rented room in a mansion located in Bang Rak Yai Subdistrict, Bang Bua Thong District, Nonthaburi Province.
Pol. Col. Thatsakorn Kontong, chief of Bang Bua Thong Police Station, stated that officers received a report of a fatal assault from the perpetrator's first wife. The suspect had called to say he argued with the deceased over jealousy and then lost control, physically assaulting her by slapping, kicking, and punching, leading to her death.
