Police Raid Chinese Spa Fronting Brothel, Convert Shophouse into Slaughter Rooms Myanmar and Vietnamese Women Provide Services

Investigation officers from Immigration Division 3 raided a Chinese spa fronting brothel in Rayong Province. The perpetrators had converted a shophouse into rooms for illicit activities. Myanmar and Vietnamese women served as hostesses, welcoming clients and offering special services. Eight suspects were arrested in total.

On 21 May 2026, Pol. Lt. Gen. Phanumas Boonylaksom, Commander of Immigration Police, along with Pol. Maj. Gen. Panthana Nuchanart, Deputy Commander, and Pol. Maj. Gen. Songprod Sirisukha, Chief of Immigration Division 3, ordered Pol. Col. Suriya Puangsombat, Head of Investigation Division, Immigration Division 3, with his deputies and officers to conduct a raid on a "Chinese spa fronting brothel" in Pluak Daeng District, Rayong Province, arresting eight foreign nationals involved in illegal activities.

Pol. Col. Prinya Klinkesorn, Deputy Chief of Immigration Division 3, revealed that the operation was prompted by intelligence that a "health spa" at Village No. 4, Map Yang Phon Subdistrict, Pluak Daeng District, Rayong, was a front for providing massage and health services while secretly offering prostitution to Chinese clientele.

The team conducted surveillance and a sting operation, posing as customers to gather evidence. The spa was located in a three-story, two-shophouse building. Inside, Myanmar female staff greeted customers and offered special services, including body-to-body massages, with the option of sexual intercourse for 4,500 baht per 50-minute session. The investigation team paid for these services to confirm the allegations.

A female manager then took the officers upstairs to service rooms on the second and third floors, which had been converted into over 10 private rooms. Two attractive Vietnamese women were found preparing to provide services constituting prostitution. A signal was given to the team waiting outside to enter, search, and arrest eight involved individuals, including: 1. Ms. Yunping Xu, 51, Chinese, owner and manager of the establishment; 2. Ms. Yan U Mee, 32, Myanmar, customer liaison and provider of massage and sexual services; 3. Mr. Binglian Cao, 51, Chinese, manager and security supervisor.

4. Ms. Thi Be Ngoc Nguyen, 32, Vietnamese, massage therapist and sexual service provider; 5. Ms. Thi Bich Tram Do, 29, Vietnamese, massage therapist and sexual service provider; 6. Ms. Nang Mo Hom, 44, Myanmar, massage therapist; 7. Ms. Nan Pie, 37, Myanmar, housekeeper; 8. Ms. Win Yee Htwe, 47, Myanmar, housekeeper. Initial questioning showed all suspects refused to give any statements to police.

Police charged Ms. Yunping Xu with illegal employment of foreigners without work permits; conspiracy to procure or lure persons into prostitution; loitering at a prostitution establishment for personal or others' benefit; ownership and management of a prostitution business or premises; and aiding and harboring illegal immigrants.

Ms. Yan U Mee was charged with being a foreigner working without a permit; conspiracy to procure or lure persons into prostitution; and loitering at a prostitution establishment for personal or others' benefit.

Mr. Binglian Cao, Ms. Thi Be Ngoc Nguyen, Ms. Thi Bich Tram Do, and Ms. Nang Mo Hom were charged with working without permits; conspiracy to procure or lure persons into prostitution; and loitering at a prostitution establishment for personal or others' benefit.

The final two suspects, Ms. Nan Pie and Ms. Win Yee Htwe, faced charges of illegal entry and residence in the kingdom, working without permits, and loitering at a prostitution establishment for personal or others' benefit. All suspects were taken into custody for legal proceedings.
