Investigation revealed that earlier in the evening, Mr. Aekporn had loudly argued with his 66-year-old mother, Mrs. Chaloei. Mrs. Chaloei called her eldest son, Mr. Supachai, 44, owner of a clothing production and sales business, to come help. Despite Supachai’s attempts to stop him, Aekporn was unresponsive. Supachai then fired his .38 caliber pistol four times to protect their mother. One bullet struck Aekporn’s skull and brain, causing him to collapse and die instantly.
