
The Metropolitan Police Division, working with Chokchai Police Station, arrested a predatory rider who rode around seeking victims. He used a knife to threaten a 13-year-old girl walking by the roadside, forced her onto his motorcycle, took her to a room, made her smoke marijuana, and then filmed himself sexually assaulting her.
On 23 May 2026, it was reported that on 22 May, under the direction of Police Lieutenant General Siam Boonsom, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, and Police Major General Pallop Armla, Deputy Commissioner, orders were given to intensify crackdowns on crimes causing distress to the public.
Police Colonel Supachai Chaisuwan, Superintendent of the Metropolitan Police Division, ordered Police Lieutenant Colonel Piyarat Wessakosol, Deputy Superintendent, and Police Lieutenant Colonel Jakree Nareephon, Inspector of the Division, to coordinate with the investigation team at Chokchai Police Station to arrest 37-year-old Satcha under Criminal Court warrant no. 2922/2569 dated 21 November 2026. The arrest took place on the sidewalk at Lat Phrao 53/1 Alley, Saphan Song subdistrict, Wang Thonglang district, Bangkok.
Satcha worked as a rider for a well-known company but did not have a driver's license. He used another person's account online to operate the motorcycle passenger delivery service. While working, he encountered a 13-year-old girl walking alone on Lat Phrao Road in Chokchai district, Bangkok. He approached her pretending to ask for directions.
He then used a knife to threaten the victim to get on the motorcycle, took her to a rented room near Ramkhamhaeng Soi 24, and forced her to smoke marijuana. When she was intoxicated, he used force to sexually assault her and recorded the act on video, threatening her with the knife. Later, the victim informed her guardians who contacted the police from the Metropolitan Police Division and Chokchai Police Station, leading to the arrest operation.
Initially, he was charged with "rape of a child under fifteen, committing indecent acts on a child under fifteen by force or threat, abducting a child under fifteen for indecent purposes by deception, threat, force, or coercion, and recording images or audio of rape or indecent acts for illegal benefit.
He was also charged with possession of child pornography for sexual exploitation, coercing another to act or refrain from acting through threats to life, body, freedom, reputation, or property, or by using violence until the victim complied, and doing so with a weapon.
Further charges include abducting a child under fifteen away from parents or guardians for indecent purposes, using violence against others without causing bodily or mental harm, and violations of the Child Protection Act B.E. 2546 (2003), regardless of the child's consent, including acts or omissions amounting to physical or mental abuse, coercion, intimidation, inducement, encouragement, or consent for the child to behave inappropriately or in a way likely to lead to wrongdoing, or to display or perform indecent acts. He was handed over to Chokchai Police Station for prosecution.
