Prachinburi Police Crack Down on Modified Motorbikes in Durian Nonth Long Stem Trip to Khun Dan Prakarn Chon Dam

Traffic police at Mueang Prachinburi Police Station intensified traffic discipline enforcement by arresting and fining numerous modified motorbikes participating in the "Durian Nonth Long Stem" trip to Khun Dan Prakarn Chon Dam in Nakhon Nayok Province. Local police confirmed they welcomed visitors and did not intend to target them, only requesting that they comply with the law.

A Facebook page named "Durian Nonth Long Stem" organized a motorcycle ride to visit the front of Khun Dan Prakarn Chon Dam in Nakhon Nayok Province. This prompted members from across the region, including Bangkok, its metropolitan area, and the Eastern provinces, to gather and depart from their residences in large numbers heading to the dam.

On 24 May 2026, traffic police at Mueang Prachinburi Police Station received reports that a gang of several hundred motorcycles from Eastern provinces like Chonburi, Rayong, and Chanthaburi, many without license plates and with loud exhaust pipes, were entering the area. Officers then conducted patrols along Suwinthawong Road, where they encountered a large group of young riders.

Authorities stopped the group for inspection and found that these youths, part of the "Durian Nonth Long Stem" group heading to Nakhon Nayok dam, mostly had incomplete or improper equipment—for example, missing license plates, loud exhaust pipes, and no helmets. The police fined each offender 500 baht before allowing the group to continue their trip.

Meanwhile, the Facebook page of Ban Na Police Station in Nakhon Nayok Province posted about their traffic management and discipline enforcement efforts, affirming that Nakhon Nayok welcomes visitors. They emphasized that police were not looking to make arrests but requested visitors to comply by carrying driving licenses, wearing helmets, and displaying license plates. The post described this as a message of concern from the commanding officers regarding duty performance.
