"Prime Minister Anutin" - has scheduled a Police Commission meeting on Friday, 29 May 2026, to appoint "Dr. Taweesin" as Assistant to the Police Chief, while transferring "Dr. Paiboon" to the position of Police Surgeon to continue working before retirement.


On 27 May 2026, it was reported that Mr. AnutinCharnvirakulthe Prime Minister, in his role as chairman of the Police Commission, has scheduled the 5th Police Commission meeting of 2026 on Friday, 29 May 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the Sriyanon Meeting Room, 2nd floor, Building 1, Royal Thai Police Headquarters. The meeting will includeagenda itemstotaling five points, consisting of

  • Agenda 1: Matters for the chairman to inform the meeting about.
  • Agenda 2: Approval of the minutes from the 4th Police Commission meeting of 2026.
  • Agenda 3: Matters for acknowledgment, including two items: reports on disciplinary committee actions assigned by the Police Commission, and progress reports on resolutions from the 7th Police Commission meeting of 2025.
  • Agenda 4: Items for consideration, consisting of

Item 1: The first half of 2026 salary increments effective 1 April 2026,for police officersreceiving salary at level S.6,

Item 2: The selection and appointment of police officers outside the regular cycle, involving two positions: appointing Police Lieutenant General Taweesin Wetchavitharn, Police Surgeon, as Assistant to the Police Chief, and transferring Police Lieutenant General Paiboon Jiamanukulkit, acting Chief Medical Officer (Level 8), to Chief Medical Officer of the Police Hospital.PoliceBoth officers are scheduled to retire on 30September2026.
