Police Arrest Uncle and Older Sister in Nong Ogn Death Case After Body Found Discarded on Three-Wheeled Vehicle

Police secured the scene and detained the uncle and older sister after an accidental incident during play caused 7-year-old "Nong Ogn" to die, and the body was then transported by three-wheeled vehicle to be discarded in a rubber plantation.


Regarding the discovery of the body, "Nong Ogn" a 7-year-old girl, was found dead beneath bamboo groves in a rubber plantation in Village No. 4, Prang Phlo Subdistrict, Sangkhla Buri District, Kanchanaburi Province, on 1 June 2026, as previously reported.

Most recently, at 09:30 on 6 June 2026, multiple police units coordinated to detain Mr. Pae (alias), 17, the uncle, and Miss A (alias), 12, the older sister of Nong Ogn.

Preliminary investigations revealed that police identified fingerprints on the three-wheeled vehicle. They learned that around 11:00 on the day of the incident, Miss A, 12, the older sister, and Mr. Pae, 17, the uncle, were playing at Nong Ogn’s home. During play, they covered Nong Ogn's head with a purple rice sack and squeezed her neck. When they later checked, they found that Nong Ogn had died.

Around 15:00, Mr. Pae transported Nong Ogn’s body on a three-wheeled vehicle along the village route with Miss A, taking the body to the location where it was found.
