Delivery of 15 BMW Big Bikes Enhances Capabilities of Royal Project Traffic Police in Life-Saving Missions

Deputy Commissioner-General Pol. Gen. Kornchai Klai-klueng handed over 15 BMW F900 GSA big bikes to strengthen the capabilities of the "Royal Project Traffic Police" in life-saving missions including emergency medical rescue and organ transport, continuing the effort to save lives.

On 9 June 2026, at the plaza in front of Building 1 of the Royal Thai Police Headquarters, Deputy Commissioner-General Pol. Gen. Kornchai Klai-klueng oversaw the acceptance inspection of 15 BMW F900 GSA motorcycles and participated in test rides. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, commanders of the Traffic Police Division, deputy commanders, superintendents from the Traffic Police Division, and officers of the Royal Project Traffic Police.

Pol. Gen. Kornchai said the new fleet of 15 big bikes was funded through a budget allocation stemming from a jointly promoted project proposal. The new motorcycles will replace older models that have been in service for many years. The primary goal is to elevate the operational capability, enhance agility, and increase response speed of the Royal Project Traffic Police, a vital unit dedicated to public service. The high performance of these new vehicles suits the terrain and operational conditions, directly improving officer safety and boosting efficiency in assisting the public.

He added that he has closely monitored the Royal Project Traffic Police’s operations and regularly visited their subunits, especially for critical urgent tasks such as transporting organs and hearts to save patients’ lives. These missions underscore the value of time, personnel readiness, and the essential need for highly efficient vehicles.

The Deputy Commissioner-General emphasized the heartfelt care for both officers and the public, stressing that the Royal Project Traffic Police's role goes beyond traffic management. They are key forces supporting medical missions, assisting accident victims, and facilitating special operations that demand speed, precision, and utmost readiness.
