Big Tao Assures Amulet Expert Case Is Not Quiet—Victims Vow to Fight in Court, Warns Against Misinformation

Big Tao assures that the amulet expert case is not silent—victims are determined not to settle and will fight in court. He warns those who distort information causing societal confusion and stresses this is not a generalization of the entire amulet community.

On 9 June 2026 at the Office of the Anti-Corruption and Misconduct Prevention Division (ACMPD), Police Major General Jaroonkiat Pankaew, Deputy Commissioner of the Crime Suppression Division, revealed progress on the amulet expert and Madam Keng case. The Commissioner has established a dedicated task force for this case. Victims have filed complaints against all nine suspects, and the case has advanced significantly with confirmed evidence. He affirmed the case is by no means dormant.

Police Major General Jaroonkiat added that Madam Keng, a victim, continues to provide consistent testimony. The incident occurred over five years ago. Related assets must be examined on a case-by-case basis. The offenses involve approximately 7 to 10 separate counts committed at different times. Victims have confirmed they will not negotiate outside court; all matters will be resolved through the judicial process.

The Deputy Commissioner also warned suspects spreading false information, saying such behavior confuses the public. He emphasized that the legal action targets only those involved in fraudulent activities in the amulet trading sector and does not represent a blanket accusation of the entire amulet industry.
