
"Bird Wanwangwan" appeared before cyber police to acknowledge charges related to a trash content controversy. He apologized to the grout company, asserting he had no intention of harming the company's image.
At 11:30 a.m. on 11 June 2026 at the Technology Crime Suppression Division 1, Government Complex Chaeng Watthana, Lak Si District, Bangkok, Pol. Maj. Gen. Chatpandakan Klayklung, Deputy Commander of the Technology Crime Suppression Division, Pol. Maj. Gen. Siriwat Deepor, Commander of Division 1, Pol. Col. Thanuwat Kongmun, Deputy Commander of Division 1, and Mr. Teerawat or "Bird Wanwangwan" aged 38, a popular influencer known for his content, held a press conference regarding social media content that involved "grout" or other materials falsely claimed to be just powder during the Songkran festival at Phra Pradaeng, aiming to cause misunderstanding and attract followers.
Pol. Maj. Gen. Chatpandakan stated that initially, Jorakay Corporation Limited, represented by Ms. Juthathip Vechsuriyakul, the authorized representative, filed a complaint against the offender, Bird Wanwangwan, for violating the Computer Crime Act.
It was found that a video clip was posted publicly online, accessible to the general public at all times. In the video, Bird Wanwangwan was seen holding Jorakay grout glue and using words like "This powder is right," while also holding Jorakay product and saying "This is more expensive."
Afterward, Bird Wanwangwan poured Jorakay grout glue into a water bucket and applied it to his face and others’ bodies. He uploaded this to a computer system, knowing it was false information, intending to gain benefit by attracting many viewers to watch the video, leading to likes, shares, or followers. The public viewing the clip could misunderstand that Jorakay grout glue can substitute for traditional white powder and is safe to apply on faces and bodies, which is untrue. Those who post, share, or forward the clip may be liable for offenses.
Meanwhile, Bird Wanwangwan apologized for causing trouble to anyone and specifically apologized to Jorakay grout company for using the grout bag in his social media content. He stated he had no intention of damaging the company's reputation; it was about himself, not the company. He apologized to the grout company.
Earlier this morning, Pol. Col. Thanuwat Kongmun, Deputy Commander of Division 1, and Pol. Col. Kritin Tapsilo, Chief of News Analysis and Special Tools Division, led a team with a search warrant (No. 192/2569) from Thanyaburi Provincial Court to search a house in Moo 3, Bueng Yitho Subdistrict, Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province, the residence of Bird Wanwangwan. They seized mobile phones to examine data for evidence before summoning him to acknowledge charges at Division 1. He initially denied the charges.
Police charged him with "inputting distorted, partially or wholly false, or untrue computer data into a computer system, not directed at the public but at an individual."
