On 11 Jun 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that after the Criminal Court sentenced Mr. Sittra Biabangkerd, known as “lawyer Tum,” to 5 years and 12 months in prison in the “Jae Oi” case and ordered him to pay damages of 72.5 million baht plus interest, lawyer Decha Kittiwitthayanun said he is currently in the process of filing for bail at the appellate level. He expects a bail bond of around 600,000 baht, but if Sittra posts a one million baht bond, it should be sufficient.
