Photos Released of Lawyer Tum Embracing Wife and Family After Court Grants Bail

Photos released "Lawyer Tum and wife" have been released, embracing family and lawyer Decha after the court allowed bail to fight the case. "Jae Aoy case"


On 11 June 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that following this morning, the Criminal Court sentenced Mr. Sittra Biabangkerd, or "Lawyer Tum" to 5 years and 12 months imprisonment in the Jae Aoy case and ordered compensation of 72.5 million baht plus interest. Later, lawyer Decha Kittivitayanan said that bail is being applied for at the appellate level, expecting to use collateral of about 600,000 baht. If Sittra posts 1 million baht as bail, it should be sufficient.

Subsequently, the Criminal Court permitted bail for "Lawyer Tum" with 1 million baht bail, with conditions prohibiting travel abroad unless authorized, as previously reported.(Court permitted bail for "Lawyer Tum" with 1 million baht; released tonight)

At the front of Bangkok Remand Prison, Lawyer Tum's family said, "Today we are here to receive Lawyer Tum. Regarding the case, we will continue to fight legally with full morale. The family has prepared Lawyer Tum's favorite dish, sour curry with shrimp."

Lawyer Decha Kittivitayanan also came to receive Lawyer Tum and said, "Today I am here to bring him home and offer support. He has been inside for a long time. We haven’t discussed the case yet today; he should go back to his family first."

Most recently, at 21:37 on 11 June 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that Bangkok Remand Prison released Mr. Sittra Biabangkerd, or "Lawyer Tum," along with his wife, Mrs. Patitta Biabangkerd. Family and lawyer Decha were present to receive them amid a light rain.
