Police Arrest Tee Porsche, Leader of Gang Stealing Electrical Cables, Who Used Luxury Cars to Signal Accomplices in Theft

The investigative team at Hua Mak Police Station tracked and arrested “Tee Porsche,” the leader of a gang stealing electrical cables, along with his accomplices, after they drove luxury cars signaling their team to help with the theft. After the crimes, they were seen driving around provinces to mislead the police.

At 3:00 p.m. on 16 June 2026, Police Colonel Prasopchok Iempinit, Chief of Hua Mak Police Station, along with Police Lieutenant Colonel Natthawat Tharak, Deputy Chief of the Investigation Division, Police Lieutenant Colonel Bamphen Namchawi, Head of Investigation, and their investigative team gathered.

They jointly arrested Mr. Pradorn Somnochai, aka Tee, 39, and Mr. Surasak Ketkaew, aka Diao, 49, under Criminal Court arrest warrants Nos. 3240 and 3242/2026 dated 9 June 2026, respectively, on charges of jointly committing nighttime theft by two or more persons using a vehicle to facilitate the crime or transport stolen property or to evade arrest.

On the morning of 9 May 2026, a victim reported that a group of suspects had stolen electrical cables including one roll of PD-IEC01 THW240 1240mm2 cable approximately 200 meters long, one roll of PD-IEC01 THW185 1185mm2 cable about 160 meters, and one roll of PD-IEC01 THW70 1*185mm2 cable about 210 meters, stored on the 4th floor of a well-known department store in the Ramkhamhaeng area.

The Hua Mak investigative team checked security camera footage and found three suspects driving a white Toyota Hilux pickup truck, license plate 1ฒต 5913 Bangkok, entering the store, going to the 4th floor, loading the cables onto the vehicle, and fleeing around 5:30 a.m. the same day.

Later, the Hua Mak investigative team followed CCTV footage that showed the suspects driving to Saraburi and Chonburi provinces, looping around for several days to mislead the police.

The team eventually traced the suspects to a scrap metal shop in Kingkaew, Samut Prakan Province. The shop owner was questioned and said the suspects had sold cables there for 970,000 baht. The main suspect was identified as Mr. Pradorn, aka Tee, who had a prior theft record at Udomsuk Police Station. Investigation revealed a gang led by Tee with arrest warrants for three suspects: Mr. Pradorn, 39, Mr. Surasak, 49, and Mr. Keng.

At 1:30 a.m. on 15 June 2026, the Hua Mak investigative team arrested Mr. Surasak, aka Diao, at a parking lot in a flat complex on Suwinthawong 50 Alley, Lam Phak Chi and Nong Chok districts, Bangkok.

They then went to Mr. Pradorn’s residence in a village in Lat Krabang. The investigative team kept surveillance until they saw Mr. Pradorn driving a white Porsche, license plate 2ขค 6493 Bangkok, park in front of a convenience store branch at Sangharat Community, Lat Krabang 3 Alley, Prachaton Road, Lat Krabang district, Bangkok, at 12:20 p.m. on 15 June 2026.

They searched the car and then Mr. Pradorn’s home, finding multiple firearms and ammunition: 1. Colt .380 automatic pistol, registration กท.5705728, with 12 rounds of .380 ammo; 2. Glock 43X 9mm automatic pistol, registration กท.6405716, with 14 rounds of 9mm ammo; 3. Remington 870 shotgun, 12 gauge, registration กท.5462481, with 25 shotgun shells; and 4. One black shoulder bag.

The gang’s modus operandi involved Mr. Tee driving the Porsche to scout locations. Once a target was found, they arranged a meeting time and place by phone before committing the theft. After the crime, they would drive away, looping through Chonburi and Saraburi provinces, then detouring to Kingkaew in Samut Prakan, spending several days to mislead police. They used secondhand pickup trucks with fake license plates, switching them regularly. After each crime, they sold the vehicle used, then bought another used vehicle to continue their operations, always swapping license plates.

The money earned was split so that Mr. Tee received double the share, while the remainder was divided between Mr. Surasak, aka Diao, 49, and Mr. Keng, another gang member still being sought. It is believed Mr. Keng may know that the other two have been arrested because the gang members signal each other; he may have fled after realizing this.

The suspects were handed over to Hua Mak Police Station investigators to proceed with legal action.
