On 17 June 2026, reports confirmed the sad news that Pol. Lt. Gen. Chatch Guladilok, former Deputy Minister of Interior, former Deputy Minister of Transport, and former Commander of the Central Investigation Bureau, passed away peacefully from stroke complications at 11:02 p.m. on 16 June at Siriraj Hospital, deeply mourning his family.

The schedule for the royal bathing ceremony and Buddhist chanting will be held at Sala Kaweeniramit (Sala Klang Nam), Wat Thepsirin Ratchaworawihan, Bangkok.
