Big Oo Leads Former Southern Police Officers to Encourage Police in the Three Southern Border Provinces

"Big Oo," Police General Adul Sangsingkaew, former Royal Thai Police Commissioner, presented money and supplies to police officers in the three southern border provinces, guided by the motto: "Never forget those who fought by your side, those who paved the way, those who showed kindness, and always be a giver when successful."  }],

On 18 June 2026, Police General Adul Sangsingkaew, former Royal Thai Police Commissioner and former Commander of the 9th Provincial Police Region as well as Police Operations Center Commander, together with 40 former officers who served in the three southern border provinces, including Police Lieutenant General Amphon Charujinda, Police General Santi Pensut, Police Lieutenant General Paitoon Chuchaiya, Police Lieutenant General Surapong Khemasing, Police Lieutenant General Sritchai Anekwiang, Police Lieutenant General Ronsilp Phusara, Police General Suchart Teerasawas, and Police General Sompong Chingduang, traveled to deliver money and essential goods. These were donated by the Charoen Pokphand Group, Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (Big C), Thai President Foods Public Company Limited, C-Valley Public Company Limited, Thepdin Show Foods Limited, and the Nanyang Textile Group.

The donations, valued at 900,000 baht, aimed to boost morale among police officers working in the three southern border provinces, including those injured or disabled in the line of duty, as well as former officers who had served in the region.

Police General Adul said the foundation was established partly to provide welfare benefits to police officers, children, women, the elderly, and those facing social difficulties. These contributions are made annually to support and encourage police personnel. Having served alongside his colleagues during the intense violence from 2005 to 2009, even though he retired 12 years ago, he still feels love and concern. He has thus raised 900,000 baht in money and goods to present to agencies, active personnel, injured officers, and retirees with care, remembrance, and encouragement.

Police General Adul stated, "We can say that we fought together with courage and faced danger. The money and goods we offer today, though not large, symbolize the enduring love and bond we share. This reflects the motto we uphold: 'Never forget those who fought by your side, those who paved the way, those who showed kindness, and always be a giver when successful.'"
