Cyber police expanded their investigation and arrested the admin of the online gambling site "Ufabet777," who secretly operated a base located in a luxury housing project near Suvarnabhumi Airport. The site has been operating for over one year with an average monthly turnover exceeding 16 million baht, or more than 200 million baht per year.
On 19 June 2026, Police Lieutenant General Surapol Prembutr, Commander of the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB), along with Police Lieutenant General Naradet Thiprak, Police Commander assigned to the Royal Thai Police Office assisting CCIB, and Police Major General Kritsaya Bamrungrattanayot, Commander of CCIB Division 4, ordered Police Colonel Anucha Srisamrong, Superintendent of Division 2, CCIB Division 4; Police Lieutenant Colonel Phromphon Nitwiboon, Deputy Superintendent of the Intelligence Analysis Unit, CCIB Division 4, assisting Division 2; Police Lieutenant Yutthapong Amromongsil, Investigator, CCIB Division 3 assisting Division 2; and Police Lieutenant Prempracha Utama, Investigator of the Intelligence Analysis Unit, CCIB Division 4 assisting Division 2,
to lead a team with search warrant No. 341/2569 issued by Samut Prakan Provincial Court to search a residence in Moo 2, Sisa Chorakhe Noi Subdistrict, Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan Province. They arrested Ms. Ketsanapa Satsuwan, 31, from Sa Kaeo Province, the suspect named in Chiang Mai Provincial Court warrant No. 1426/2569, and seized two mobile phones as evidence.
The investigation revealed that the police team from Division 2, CCIB Division 4, discovered the website "Ufabet777" had over 30,000 members, had been operating for over a year, and generated an average turnover exceeding 16 million baht monthly, or more than 200 million baht annually. The site secretly offered betting services on international football, lottery, slots, baccarat, dragon-tiger, sic bo, pok deng, and various other gambling games.
Further investigation uncovered that this gambling website had clandestinely set up its operational base in a luxury housing project near Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bang Sao Thong district, Samut Prakan province. Ms. Ketsanapa served as the admin, responsible for withdrawing cash from ATMs to deliver to the website's beneficiaries. Authorities gathered evidence, obtained court warrants to arrest and search, and successfully detained her at the residence.
In preliminary interrogation, Ms. Ketsanapa confessed to working for this gambling site for over one year, receiving a monthly payment in the tens of thousands of baht.
She faces charges of "jointly organizing or facilitating gambling by electronic means without permission; conspiring with two or more people to commit money laundering; and actively participating in money laundering." She has been detained for further legal proceedings.
