The Narcotics Suppression Bureau seized a large batch of methamphetamine pills, over 1.24 million tablets, in Lao Khwan district, Kanchanaburi. The suspect fled into the forest, but authorities have identified all involved.

On 20 June 2026, it was reported that at 01:30 on 19 June, narcotics suppression police from Kanchanaburi, Division 1, Narcotics Suppression Bureau 4, joined forces with the 13th Border Patrol Police, military personnel, multiple security agencies, and the Office of the Narcotics Control Board Region 7 to conduct an operation in Nong Pradu subdistrict, Lao Khwan district, Kanchanaburi.

The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 1,246,000 methamphetamine pills. The suspect used the darkness and their knowledge of local routes to escape into the forest. However, authorities have identified all individuals involved and are gathering evidence to request court-issued arrest warrants, while proceeding to investigate related networks further.
